Multi-Year Gloss and Protection, Locked In
Ceramic coatings are a protective layer applied to your vehicle's paint to protect and enhance the look of your vehicle and extend the life of your paint. Once we are done with our extensive decontamination wash process, we lock in using our ceramic coating to give your vehicle its best look possible. The ceramic coatings we use are designed to make your vehicle easy to wash and dry, and protect your paint's clear coat from contaminants such as tree sap, and brake dust. With regular maintenance, your protective coating should last anywhere between 5-7 years.
Every ceramic coating includes paint work before the coating goes on. Mobile includes a 1-step paint enhancement, which lifts the gloss and removes lighter swirls and hazing. In our shop we can go further with a full 2-step paint correction, from $1,200, which removes heavier swirls and wash scratches on paint in rougher condition. Both include iron removal, clay treatment, a foam bath and hand wash, wheel and tire cleaning, and one free additional exterior maintenance wash to keep it looking its best.
How long does ceramic coating last?
With regular maintenance, your ceramic coating should last anywhere between 5–7 years.
Do you polish the paint first?
Always. A coating seals in whatever the paint looks like that day and keeps it sealed for 5 to 7 years, so we never skip it. Mobile includes a 1-step paint enhancement. In our shop we can do a full 2-step paint correction for paint that needs more.
Can you do a ceramic coating at my house?
Yes. A mobile ceramic takes about 6 hours at your home or office and includes a 1-step paint enhancement. The coating then needs 12 hours completely dry, so a garage is strongly recommended. Without covered parking, dew or rain on the first night can mark it. In our shop it is a one-day job and we keep it overnight so the cure happens in a controlled space.
What is the difference between mobile and in-shop ceramic?
The paint work. Mobile includes a 1-step paint enhancement from $950 and suits paint that is newer or in good shape. In shop we do a full 2-step paint correction from $1,200, which is double the polishing and removes heavier swirls and wash scratches, so it is the right call for paint in worse condition. The coating itself is identical.
